Event for End Polio Now

On Friday 19th February the Rotary Club of Leek will be
collecting for the End Polio Now campaign.
For 25 years Rotary International has been involved in ridding the World of Polio. In
2010 Polio is present in only four Countries, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria.
Rotary is determined to eliminate Polio. It has to be remembered that as long as it exists,
It is only a plane ride away from those countries otherwise free of the disease.
Please help Rotary to complete the difficult task. Every 50p immunises one child.
On November 7th for 2 days, 86 Rotarians visited India and, together with a lot of
local help, immunised 68 million children in 2 days.
